Union ministers plan administrative powers in the Republic of India. It consists of senior ministers, cabinet ministers and junior ministers, known as ministers of state. Led by the Prime Minister. The current ministry has been ordered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was sworn in on May 31, 2019. According to the Constitution of India, the total strength of the Council of Ministers should not exceed 15% of the strength of the Lok Sabha. The current number of 17th Lok Sabha is 543 members.


During the swearing-in ceremony, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Council of Ministers with 63 Ministers. Over time, a few changes were made to the list.
