PREPOSITION
- Preparations are short words that are usually placed before or after a noun to indicate the position or position of the noun.
- It shows the relationship of a Noun / ProNoun with another (Noun / Verb / AdVerb).
For example,
- The bird is on the tree. (Relationship between two nouns)
- In this example the preposition, "on" shows the relationship between the two nuns bird and the tree.
In the picture below we would say, "The dog is sitting at the table." (The relationship between a verb and a noun) .Here, the word "on" is a preparation because it describes the position of the "dog" that is sitting at the "table". It shows the relationship between the dog and the table and at the same time it shows the relationship between a verb (seat) and a noun (table).
"The dog is sitting under the table."
He is climbing the stairs. (Relationship between a verb and a noun)
